These pants are very comfortable and fit very well. I’m 5’5” and wear a size 12 - sometimes short, sometimes medium. These pants fits perfectly - though they’re a bit long (but not so long that I need to get them shortened). No gap in the back - just a perfect fit.I hate pants that have small pockets. I am on the tall side, 5\'9\'\', and usually wear size 14 pants, and those pants do fit me just right. I was concerned about waist being a bit high, but it is still comfortable to wear and did not feel like I am being strangled. I have to use a belt with the pants, but it is true for most pants I wear since I have smaller waist and most pants gape at the back.
