I am on the tall side, 5'9'', and usually wear size 14 pants, and those pants do fit me just right. I was concerned about waist being a bit high, but it is still comfortable to wear and did not feel like I am being strangled. I have to use a belt with the pants, but it is true for most pants I wear since I have smaller waist and most pants gape at the back. This is the only brand/size that I know I can buy sight unseen and it will fit - long enough and fits at the hips.

Finally found dress pants that fit in length and nicely in the waist. Could have gone a size smaller, but didn't want to take the chance of the waist being too tight. These are a little large in the rear end, but I can live with it. So much so, I ordered 4 more, with different colours.
