I have had a lot of experiences buying pants that don't fit exactly right online but these fit perfectly. I am 5 7 to 5' 8 (depends on the day I'm being measured it eems) and roughly 130 pounds, kind of hourglass shaped, and I bought a tall size 8 which gave me just exactly the extra rise from inseam to waist but the legs are not ridiculously long on me, which some tall sizes are.
