The white is a little bit see-through, but nothing compared to other dresses (looks completely modest with the right layers underneath, like a slip, etc.) The colors are very pretty and vibrant. I wear a size 12/14. I ordered an XL but had to get it cut and taken in. I love it thugh. It's very versitile. I've worn it with jeans, jean shorts as well.
