The fabric reminds me of that of a slip, light weight. It is soft like a cotton feel and stretchy. I normally wear a 16 (1X) but I bought the 2x because I am busty. It stretches fine across the bust. The shoulders seams line up perfectly. I am not sure if you can see through in sunlight but it doesnt look like it will. I loved my black dress i bought that i came back and bought the floral blue dress. Love them!

I have bought 4 of these dresses all in different colors and absolutely love them!! I'm 5'4, 115 lbs,and 28 inch torso and the xs fits really well. Not too big, which is the problem I usually have. Its liberating to find womans clothes that fit. Definitely recommend!! I wear them to work and I'm free to move around without fear of cleavage or accidentally flashing someone. The fabric is nice. The dress is just lovely. It is a little bit too large, should have gone a size smaller. Might order another color in a smaller size
