I ordered a 4 (27), it was too big, especially on the waist (i'm 5'6 , 130lb). I returned and ordered a 2 (26). Fits great! I love them. I would say if you have a small waist, to size down.

Great shorts! I ordered the same size I would for regular jeans, which are a little loose but very comfortable and look great so I’m keeping them. If you want them tight, go down a size. If you want them comfortable, go true to size.

These shorts are awesome! I bought the gray ones first and loved them so much I had to buy the navy ones. They fit perfectly and launder wonderfully! I wear a size 4 and the small were a perfect fit. I am 5 feet tall and the hit at about 8 inches above my knee which is perfect for my needs. I love them!
