I sized up, my measurements 39-33-40, I always have a problem with the pants as they run pretty tight with this kind of Elastic. This one was so comfortable on my waist and keeps me warm. 5\'6 , 167 lbs. I ordered an xl, to look like picture a large would have been better. Personally I absolutely love the fit of the xl. The hem hits at the ankle, arm length just past wrist.
