I sized up, my measurements 39-33-40, I always have a problem with the pants as they run pretty tight with this kind of Elastic. This one was so comfortable on my waist and keeps me warm. A perfect travel or stay casual with style outfit. I did order an XL as I am a size 16 and although it fits a size larger would have been better to get the drape needed to style up. You can wear with a cute pair of tennis shoes or with a high heel. Just change up shoes and jewelry and date night,
