I really like these shorts - they are not super lose around the thigh, but not tight like a bicycle short - very flattering!

The Large I ordered, fit better than the Medium I also ordered to see the difference. According to the size chart, I should be a Medium and that is what I usually wear in clothing, but the Large fit better for my taste. I\'m 5\'\'6 , 145-ish lbs, athletic build, but with a bit of curve in the hips and butt.These shorts are just what I was looking for! Decent material, wash/dry well and they are nice enough to wear out for a casual meal or appt. The pockets are the bomb diggity yo! Deep enough for my cell phon
