I bought an XL, normally an XL in a jacket is a bit small so I usually by XXL.This jacket was slightly larger than i was expecting but its okay. I would say this is probably the only jacket I have ever found that I can wear the same size in the shirt size I wear.If you prefer a more fitted look go a size smaller than your normal shirt size, I personally like the relaxed fit in this sweater.It is so warm! Quite good sweater, thus far. Heavy weight with good, warm lining. The medium is perfect for me at 5\'3 and 115 lbs, there\'s plenty of room for layering - even wearing another bulky sweater underneath. Worked well with a light sweater when temps were in the upper 30s with moderate Arizona winds. I\'m sensitive to cold, so this impressed me.
