I sized up, my measurements 39-33-40, I always have a problem with the pants as they run pretty tight with this kind of Elastic. This one was so comfortable on my waist and keeps me warm. Best buy. Comfortable fabric. I got many compliments the best is that it doesn\'t loose its color during or after washing. The red is large and the blue is medium. I am 5f5inches, between 155 and 158 lbs
