These pants are light weight sweat pant type material, warm without being too warm. The size fit perfect. I am about 5\'5 and weigh about 140-145 and I got the small. The length is good, below the ankle but not too long. I washed them once and they didn\'t shrink. The only little thing that happened when washed was the seam on the left leg twisted slightly towards the front of the leg, but just a little. I can deal with it. Hopefully it won\'t twist further.
