After reading reviews, I decided to order one size up from the size that I normally wear in jean shorts and they fit perfect! I prefer my jean shorts a little on the loose side but if you prefer yours tighter then your normal size would probably work. I expected these to be super rigid and stiff but was pleasantly surprised that there is a little bit of stretch to them! The only thing that I\'m not a fan of is the buttons instead of a zipper but that\'s how a lot of denim shorts are so not really a complaint,

These shorts are great! I got them on a whim and was surprised by how comfortable they were. I plan on ordering two more pairs in different color. I got the shorts in large, and they fit absolutely perfectly. It\'s actually the first time I bought something online that fit just how I wanted them to. I used them for both working out and lounging around the house. For reference, I weigh 210 and am 5\'5 with pretty wide hips. The large was the right size for me.
